Out Sick

This past Wednesday I woke up feeling awful, and unable to take a deep breathe. Turns out that I caught a viral cold, and a week later am still fighting it off. Although I am seriously grateful that it is not Covid-19, because I am high risk. Now being sick doesn’t mean I've been totally stagnant, however it does mean I have mostly avoided posting, because my brain has not been fully functional.

I will admit it felt nice not being punished or guilt tripped by a boss for taking a few days to get better. However, it is also really hard because you have to pick yourself up from your bootstraps and get back to work. Trust me it’s very easy to get comfortable just resting and getting better. But, here I am bootstraps up.

This past week I also figured out a few future posts I would like to share.

You can look forward to:

  • A Food post about Tommy’s Tavern, located just outside the Staten Island Mall.

  • A short review on J’s on the Bay, located on Bay Street in Staten Island.

  • I also, while resting, watched the full Conjuring series of movies, so you will find posts on these shortly as well.

  • I am also debating on sharing with you, the Greek home remedy for a faster recovery, it is not for the weak of heart nor for anyone under the age of 21.

That being said, I’m going to keep this post short and sweet.

Stay healthy!!
